JOE MATLOCK

Joe Donald Matlock, 65, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, in Texarkana. Mr. Matlock was born Sept. 21, 1952, in Texarkana. He was a building contractor. Survivors include two sons, Anthony Gray of Texarkana and Joshua Keener of Shreveport, La.; his mother, Doris Day of Texarkana; four sisters, Peggy Matlock and Michelle Wilson of Texarkana, Deborah Biddle of Little Rock and Jacquelyn Wilson of Little Rock; and one granddaughter, Emari Keener of Shreveport, La. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at New Town Baptist Church with the Revs. Vernon Tubbs and James Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary.
