LENWOOD HAYNES SR.

HOPE, Ark.—Lenwood Haynes Sr., 86, of Bradley, Ark., died Saturday, April 21, 2018, in a Bossier City, La., hospital. Mr. Haynes was born Aug. 12, 1931. He was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Josiephine O. Haynes of Bradley; three sons, L.D. Haynes and James Holden of Denver and Linwood Haynes Jr. of Bradley; three daughters, Linda Haynes of Houston, Alice Herrin of Plain Dealing, La., and Betty Randle of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Essie Lee Howard of Fort Worth, Texas, Earldean Hamilton of Mountain Pine, Ark., and Louise Fleming of Lewisville, Ark.; two brothers, Charles Haynes of Hope and Claude Haynes of Mountain Pine; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church, Bradley, with the Rev. George Harris officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery under direction of Brandon's Mortuary.
