DE QUEEN, Ark.—Jorge Luis Martinez Vargas, 30, of De Queen died Monday, July 30, 2018, in Houston. Mr. Vargas was born Jan. 21, 1988, in Mexico. He was employed by Thirteen Inc. Concrete and was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Mayra Martinez of De Queen; one daughter, Hadi Martinez of De Queen; two sons, Jorge Martinez Jr. and Amir Zaid of De Queen; his parents, Jose Martinez and Rosa Vargas of De Queen; six brothers, Jose Angel Martinez of Houston and Diego Martinez, Hugo Martinez, Jose Martinez, Daniel Torres and Alvaro Hernandez of De Queen; and a number of other relatives. Funeral Mass will be 3 p.m. today at Monsignor Scott Friend Pastoral Center. Burial will be in Redmen Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
