TOMMY SHERMAN

Tommy Wayne Sherman, 76, of Texarkana died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018, at a local hospital. Mr. Sherman was born April 12, 1942, in Beirne, Ark. He was a retired logger with Sherman Logging Company and a member of First Baptist Church, Nash. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Hannah Grace Sherman. Survivors include his wife, Patricia "Pat" Sherman of Texarkana; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Randy and Toni Sherman of Nash and Mark Sherman of Combine, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Ellen Sherman, of Nash; one grandchild, Kaitlin Sherman of Nash; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Rex Roberts officiating. Private burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
