BETTY BOUNDS

Betty Virginia Bounds, 80, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Bounds was born Dec. 26, 1937, in Texarkana, Ark. She was retired from Wadley Hospital and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Donald L. Bounds of Texarkana; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Clyde and Dianne Bounds of Texarkana and Morris Bounds of Nash, Texas; one daughter, Candace Bounds of Texarkana; two sisters, Marjorie Buckley of Texarkana and Janet Moore of El Dorado, Ark.; two brothers, Parnell McDowell and Terrell McDowell of Texarkana; one grandson, Aaron Bounds of Redwater, Texas; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas, with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
