DE QUEEN, Ark.—Sudie Christine Glossup Oglesby, 88, of De Queen died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018, in a local hospital. Mrs. Oglesby was born May 15, 1930, in Chillicothe, Texas. She was a homemaker, former food service worker and a member of First Pentecostal Church of God. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Melvin Woodard and Joseph Oglesby; two children, William Leon Woodard and Judy Ann Cheatham; and one grandchild, Johnny Riley. Survivors include one daughter, Linda Hodges of De Queen; two sons, Larry Oglesby and Gary Oglesby of De Queen; five grandchildren and one spouse, Jerry and Hope Cheatham of De Queen and Ella, Mark, Charles and William; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Cove, Ark., with the Rev. James Copp officiating. Burial will be under direction of Chandler Funeral Home.
