EVELYN SNOWDEN

HOPE, Ark.—Evelyn Joyce Snowden, 61, formerly of Blevins, Ark., died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Ms. Snowden was born July 30, 1957, in Blevins. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, Emmet, Ark. Survivors include two sons, Eugene Hopson and Lamario Hopson of Hope; two daughters, Senika Hopso of Prescott and Felicia Hopson of HOpe; one brother, Herman Snowden Jr. of Hope; eight grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Baptist Church, Emmet, Ark., with the Rev. John Fort officiating under direction of Hicks Funeral Home. The body may be viewed 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
