NASHVILLE, Ark.—Clyde Leslie Green, 90, of Mineral Springs, Ark., died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018. Mr. Green was born Feb. 18, 1928, in Mineral Springs. He was former mayor of Mineral Springs, former Howard County Judge, former building superintendent with AT&T, former business president, former semi-pro baseball player and attended Central Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Gentry Green; one son, Larry Joe Green; and one granddaughter, Jaimie DeAnn Green. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Linda Green and Rick Johnson of Mineral Springs; one son, Jimmy Green of Mineral Springs; one sister and brother-in-law, Shirley Green and Brice Westfall of Nathan, Ark.; four grandchildren, Kristen Johnson McJunkins and Jeremy Green of Nashville, Kellie Johnson Web of Columbus, Ark., and Wes Green of Hot Springs, Ark.; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Mineral Springs Cemetery with Ben Jones officiating. Burial will be under direction of Nashville Funeral Home. Visitation will follow services at Central Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church.
