DORIS RAY

ATLANTA, Texas—Doris Virginia Ray, 88, of Atlanta died Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, in Conroe, Texas. Mrs. Ray was born Nov. 15, 1929, in Cass County, Texas. She was formerly employed with Atlanta Primary School. She was preceded in death by her husband, E.V. Ray. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Bonnie Ray of The Woodlands, Texas; three grandchildren and one spouse, Maverick and Mandi Ray of Houston, Madison Ray of Nashville, Tenn., and Pierce Ray of The Woodlands; and two nieces and spouses, Debbie Pyle and Ken Cockerham of Fort Worth, Texas, and Lynn Pyle and Bullitt Fitzhugh of Colorado Springs, Colo. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Pine Crest Cemetery with Tony Lawson officiating. Burial will be under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
