ASHDOWN, Ark.—Georgia M. Sawyers, 84, of Ashdown died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Sawyers was born Aug. 8, 1934 in Alleene, Ark. Mrs. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, Ashdown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Withem; one son, Scotty Withem; one grandson, Eddie Withem; and one great-grandson, Harrison Scott Huntley. Survivors include her husband, Walter Sawyers; one daughter, Edwina Keith; one brother, Leonard Frady; two sisters Faye Hoover and Barbara Frady; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Madden Funeral Home with Don Embry officiating. Burial will be in Ashdown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be fromn 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
