De QUEEN, Ark.—George Neal Jordan, 65, of Horatio, Ark., died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, at a Little Rock hospital. Mr. Jordan was born Dec. 14, 1952, in De Queen. He was a truck driver and a Master Mechanic. Survivors include one daughter, Ashley Lacosta Bowers of Oak Grove, Ark.; one stepdaughter, Brandy Bowers of De Queen; five brothers, Frank Lee Jordan, Tommy "Tony" Whitmore and Charlie D. Jordan of De Queen, Jerry Lee Whitmore of Maumelle, Ark., and Stephen Leon Whitmore of Broken Bow, Okla.; three sisters, Clara Maw Wilburn of Kansas City, Mo., April Bennett of Horatio, Ark., and Marie Whitmore of De Queen; one grandson; two stepgrandsons; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Lewis Temple COGIC with Superintendent E.A. Edwards and Jerome Edwards officiating under direction of Chandler Funeral Home.
