GLADYS WRIGHT

Gladys Mae Wright, 70, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018, in a local hospital. Mrs. Wright was born March 11, 1948, in Waldron, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Fundamental Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Roger Beaty. Survivors include her husband, Robert H. Petty of Texarkana; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Al and Teresa Wright of New Boston, Texas, and Dennis Beaty of Eureka, Calif.; one daughter and son-in-law, Norweitta and Robert Damron of Texarkana; her mother, Verlon Presley of De Queen, Ark.; one sister, Wanda Carter of Eufaula, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the home of Al Wright, 776 CR 3008, New Boston. Cremation is under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
