JOHN CASTLEMAN

ASHDOWN, Ark.—John R. Castleman, 76, of Ashdown died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018, at his home. Mr. Castleman was born Jan. 20, 1942, in Ashdown. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Sherry Castleman and Carol Harper. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Castleman of Ashdown; one son, John R. Castleman of Lockesburg, Ark.; two daughters, Karen Ashley of Texarkana and Judy Nolan of Ashdown; one brother, James Castleman; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, Ashdown, with Jim Cross officiating under direction of Madden Funeral Home.
