IDABEL, Okla.—Robert E. "Bob" Wright, 68, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Wright was born March 13, 1950, in Idabel, Okla. He was a teacher at Stillwater High School and Idabel High School, a police officer at McCurtain County Sheriff's Office and Idabel Police Department, an investigator and truancy officer at McCurtain County D.A.'s Office, and worked at Brinkley Auctions. He also was a process officer and was a Master Mason at Idabel Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation, Cisco Deer Camp, Buckhorn Lodge Hunting Club, OSU Alumni Association and Idabel First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Andrea Wright; one son and daughter-in-law, Tyson and Tiffany Wright of Tecumseh, Okla.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Tina Metcalf of Broken Bow, Okla., and Tiffani and Neil DeArmond of Stillwater, Okla.; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Francie Wright of Muskogee, Okla.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church, Idabel, with Andy Bowman officiating. Burial will be in Denison Cemetery under the direction of White Family Funeral Home.
