ERMA RAY

MALVERN, Ark.—Erma Jean Ray, 83, of Batesville, Ark., died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018. Mrs. Ray was born March 3, 1935, in Texarkana. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Frank Ray; and one daughter, Shirley Edwards. Survivors include five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Cathey and John Gaithwright, Dorothy Cobb, Wilma Applegate and Juli Reding, Brenda Wilburn and David Williams and Leda Hicks; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Batesville. Burial will be under direction of Atkinson Funeral Home.
