HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Sammy Leroy Moore, 70, of Daingerfield, Texas, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2018, at his home. Mr. Moore was born Feb. 20, 1948, in Rockford, Ill.He was a high school basketball coach in Dublin and Saltillo. Survivors include his wife, Dixie; two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Teresa and Sammy and Jill; two sisters, Sandra Sue Welch and Penny DeMastes; one brother, Robert Moore; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; six nieces and nephews; eight greatnieces and greatnephews; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Friday at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Burial will be under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
