Norma Patman Delgado, age 85, of Austin, Texas, died peacefully on Saturday, August 25th, in a local rest home. She was born Norma Ruth Moore to Clarice Burkhalter Moore and William Eddin Moore, Sr., in Queen City, Texas, Norma was with Austin I.S.D. for 25 years as a junior high and high school Geography teacher. She was then the owner of the Hobo Joe's Barbecue restaurant in Austin for many years. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Evelyn King, brother-in-law Woody Pelley, husband Rey Delgado, and grandson John W. R. Graham. Survivors include her brother, William Ed Moore Jr., sister Hazel Pelley, daughters Brenda Johnson and Cheryl King, grandchildren Jerry, Jason, Larry and Alexandria, great-granddaughter Naomi, and a number of relatives and friends. Funeral services are Sunday, September 2nd at 11:00 in the Chapel at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks. Visitation will be from 9am to 11am, interment will be at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks.
