PEARLIE SMITH

Pearlie Mae Smith, 82, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, in a local hospital. Mrs. Smith was born April 22, 1936, in Foreman, Ark. She was a retired healthcare provider. Survivors include five sons and three daughters-in-law, Wendell and Lucesita Smith of San Diego, Calif., Timothy and Pamela Smith of Garland, Texas, and Robert Earl Smith, Curtis Lee Smith and Tobie Smith and Vivian Titington of Texarkana; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at New Zion Baptist Church with the Revs. Melvin Glover and Barry Thurman officiating.
