STERLING LACY

Sterling Lacy, 77, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018. Dr. Lacy was born July 8, 1941, in Fairland, Okla. He was an ordained minister, director of three counseling ministries and a former Bowie County judge. He was preceded indeath by one son, Timothy Lacy. Survivors include his wife, W. Jean Lacy of Texarkana; two sons, David Lacy of Fort Worth, Texas, and Stephen Lacy of Roanoke, Texas; one brother, Terry Lacy of McPherson, Kan.; three sisters, Marquita Boehnke of Ellinwood, Kan., Dr. Linda Lacy of Riverside, Calif., and Peggy Williams of Miami, Okla; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Church on the Rock. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane. Memorials may be made to the poster project at SoRichly, 216 E.
