GEORGE COOPER SR.

HOPE, Ark.—George M. Cooper Sr., 64, of Emmet, Ark., died Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, in a Hope hospital. Mr. Cooper was born Feb. 6, 1954, in Emmet. He was a mechanic and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Tonya; four sons, William Eugene Cooper of Prescott, Ark., Kevin Cooper of White Hall, Ark., George M. "Sonny" Cooper Jr. of Russellville, Ark., and Jason Cooper of Little Rock; one daughter, Katie Cooper of Prescott; his mother, Marion Helen Nelson of Prescott; four brothers, Eugene Cooper of DeAnn, Ark., Jackie Cooper and James Dickson of Prescott and John Cooper of Athens, Ga.; two sisters, Helen Berry of Russellville and Patsy Williams of Prescott; four grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home with James Cox officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday.
