GILBERT LAFFERTY

Gilbert Travis Lafferty, 82, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, at his home. Mr. Lafferty was born May 10, 1936, in Springhill, Ark. He was owner of Lafferty's TV and Appliance and a member of Hampton Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Linda Butler Lafferty; one son, Mark Lafferty; three daughters, Cathy Gann, Deana Moody and Donna Carr; two brothers, Jim Lafferty and Bryant Lafferty; one stepsister, Diva Thomas; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Hampton Church of Christ with Jerry Monholland and Patrick Cannon officiating. Burial will be 2 p.m. at Central Church of Christ Cemetery, Hope, Ark., under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
