RUTH MOCKLIN-GREEN

Ruth Mocklin-Green, 96, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, in a Texarkana hospice. Mrs. Mocklin-Green was born Jan. 22, 1922, in Riegelsberg, West Germany. She was a retired teacher with Texarkana ISD, charter member of North Ridge Country Club, Women's Golf Assocation and Wadley Hospital Women's Auxiliary and a member of Texas Retired Teachers Association, Philanthropic Education Organization, Chapter CX-PEO and First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Green. Survivors include four children and two spouses, George and Kathy Green of Johnson City, Tenn., Michael and JoAnn Green of Naperville, Ill., Rex Green of Asheville, N.C., and Heidi Green-Adams of Texarkana, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Private memorial services will be held Monday at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane. Private burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
