Nettie Jean Cush

Nettie Jean Cush, 74, of Ashdown, Ark., died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, at her home. Ms. Cush was born May 1, 1944, in Richmond, Ark. She was a seamstress, a homemaker and a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church, Ashdown. Survivors include five daughters, Vanessa Threadgill of Foreman, Ark., Tammie Hogan of Arkadelphia, Ark., Constance Hurd-Dillard and Bridgette Cush of Dallas, Texas, and Angela Cush of Ashdown, Ark.; one brother, Joe Green of Texarkana, Ark.; four sisters, Erma Faye Beard of Foreman, Dorothy Hammond-Hill of San Bernardino, Calif., and Barbara Hemphill and Jerlene Grimes of Ashdown; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Springs Baptist Church, Ashdown, with Anthony Nelson Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Rhodes Cemetery.
