MAMIE GASTON

Wilma "Mamie" Gaston, 90, of Wake Village, Texas, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, in a local hospital. Mrs. Gaston was born Jan. 3, 1928, in Black Springs, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Wake Village. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Gaston. Survivors include two daughters, Judy Kiefer and Janet Gaston of Wake Village; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Jodie and Chris Rowlee of Portland, Ore.; one great-grandson, Dylan Rowlee of Arkadelphia, Ark.; one niece and spouse, Joy and Richard Cross of Mineola, Texas; and two special friends, Charlie and LaRae Clark of Texarkana. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Neathery officiating. Visitation will follow services at the funeral home.
