Manuel "Manny" Cruz Garcia, 55, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, in a local hospice. Mr. Garcia was born Aug. 23, 1963, in Indio, Calif. He was retired from working for the city of Texarkana, Ark., and attended Redeeming Ministries Church. Survivors include his wife, Sadie Garcia of Texarkana; two sons, Duston Walker and Darron Walker; three daughters, Jalisia Hickman, Savannah Walker and Samantha Walker; one sister, Susan Bocanegra; two brothers, Cody Coffman and Danny "Eli" Whitley, Sr.; and one niece, Angela "Bebe" Duran. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Redeeming Ministries Church with Tony Murphy officiating. Cremation is under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
