CONNOR PATMAN

Connor Wright Patman, 98, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, in a local hospice. Mr. Patman was born March 24, 1920 in Linden, Texas. He was an attorney and real estate developer, past member of Board of Directors at Texarkana National Bank, a member of Wadley Regional Medical Center Board of Directors, Foundation Board at Texarkana College and First United Methodist Church, and a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Patman; and by one grandson, Connor Wright Patman III. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Alan Schimming; one son and daughter-in-law, Connor W. Jr. and Mary Beth Patman; three grandchildren and two spouses, Jeff and Shelly Patman, Meredith Ledwell and Sarah and Tom York; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jaimie Alexander officiating. Private burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
