ANGELA WATSON

Angela Watson, 52, of Marietta, Texas, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, in Houston. Mrs. Watson was born Feb. 25, 1966, in Mount Pleasant, Texas. She was an administrative assistant, and a deaconness, singer and member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Douglassville, Texas. Survivors include her husband, Tommy Watson of Marietta; one son, Dorian Watson of Marietta; two daughters, LaKeisha Rhodes of Dallas and Daphne Watson of Marietta; her parents, Bennie and Teresa Thomas of Waco, Texas, and Earldene Bonner of Naples, Texas; three brothers, Reginald Scott Thomas of Jackson, Tenn., Tracy Thomas of Cedar Hill, Texas, and Eddrick Bailey of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Terressea Thomas of Dallas and Bennita Thomas of Waco; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Paul Pewitt High School Auditorium, Naples, Texas, with Elder Rickey Greene officiating. Burial will be in Floyd Valley Cemetery, Marietta, under direction of Haynes Mortuary. The body may be viewed noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the auditorium. Online registration is at haynesmortuary.com.
