NORA FRENCH

Nora Onetta French, 91, of Wilton, Ark., died Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, at her home. Mrs. French was born May 26, 1927, in Texarkana, Ark. She was retired from Lone Star Ammunition Plant and a member of Wilton Women Auxiliary and Davis Chapel African Methodist Church, Wilton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert French; and one son, Joe French. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jack "Butch" and Joyce French and Thadius "T.W." and Marilyn French of Texarkana; two daughters and one son-in-law, Acquanita Moore and Angela and Lamont Harris of Wilton; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Laura Faye Poindexter of Ashdown, Ark., and Bobbie Jean and Fletcher Harris of Wilton; 20 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Davis Chapel AME Church, Wilton, with the Rev. Michael Harris officiating. Burial will be in Cook Cemetery under direction of Lyles Funeral Home.
