MELBA McJUNKINS

Melba Z. McJunkins, 91, of Texarkana, Ark., died Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, in an El Dorado, Ark., nursing home. Mrs. McJunkins was born Feb. 2, 1927, in El Dorado. She was retired from Fricks Butane Gas Co., formerly employed with The Merchants Credit Association, a Sunday School teacher and a member of Mandeville Baptist Church, Mandeville, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Willie McJunkins. Survivors include a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at East Funeral Home, Downtown, with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
