HOPE, Ark.—Mrs. Gelinda L. Smith, 67, of Hope died Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, at a local hospital. Mrs. Smith was born Aug. 31, 1951, in Bodcaw, Ark. She was an accountant and a Christian. Survivors include her husband, Michael Smith of Hope; one sister, Shirley Deer of Atlanta, Ga.; one sister-in-law, Janette Spencer of El Dorado, Ark.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be 1 p.m. today at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with Jerry Evans and Glenn Ridling officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Bodcaw, under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church.
