Delphine Elizabeth Cobb

Delphine Elizabeth Cobb, age 92, of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018 at Wadley Medical Center in Hope, Arkansas. She was born on August 17, 1926 to John P. and Mary Catherine Lanners. She was a member of the Catholic Church and the Ladies' Auxiliary Knights of Columbus. Mrs. Cobb was retired from the food service for the school district. She was a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, a Little League Volunteer and "Queen of Cedar Street." She was a loving wife, mother, Grandma and Great-Grandma, and a friend to everyone. She loved camping, family, friends and children. She was preceded by: Her Husband 70 years, Robert Cobb, her parents, and 7 siblings. She is survived by: five sons, Mike Cobb of Bishop, CA, Mark Cobb (Sheri) of Palm Desert, CA, Greg Cobb of Santa Ana, CA, Kevin Cobb (Cindy) of Yreka, CA, and John Cobb (Karine) of Lexington, SC; one daughter, Susan Burke (Millard) of Stamps, AR; one Brother, Arnold Lanners (Maria) of Clear Water, Minnesota; eleven grandchildren, Garrison, Parkin, Steve Parkin, Jared Cobb, Daniel Cobb, Marshall Cobb, Lucas Cobb, Shannon Miller, Lauren Cobb, Cari Cobb, Megan Cobb, Malina Cobb; and twelve Great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Magnolia with Father William Burmester and Bro. Mike Turner officiating. Interment will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery in Buckner, Arkansas under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes in Stamps, Arkansas.
