BETTY PARKER

Betty C. Parker, 90, of Maud, Texas, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Parker was born July 14, 1928, in San Antonio, Texas. She was a child care worker and a member of First Baptist Church, Maud. She was preceded in death by her husband, Skip Parker; and one daughter, Betty Diane Parker. Survivors include three daughters Dorothy Tromp of DeKalb, Texas, Donna Jones of Maud and Ada Spillane of Connecticut; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Danny and Sherrie Parker and Steven Parker of Maud and Dennis and Cindy Parker of California; one sister, Dorothy Holderby of California; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Maud, with the Rev. Chuck Carr officiating. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
