NORLEAN GRIFFIN

HOPE, Ark.—Norlean Griffin, 80, of Fulton, Ark., died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, in Nashville, Ark. Mrs. Griffin was born Aug. 5, 1938, in Columbus, Ark. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Griffin. Survivors include two sons and one spouse, Wayne C. Griffin of McCaskill, Ark., and Larry R. and Leslie Griffin of Ozan, Ark.; three brothers, Ed Hawthorne of De Queen, Ark., Doyle Hawthorne of Patmos, Ark., and Tommy Hawthorne of Columbus, Ark.; one sister, Henri Hendricks of Columbus; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Graveside services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018, at Columbus Cemetery with the Rev. Keenan Williams officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Columbus Cemetery Association.
