Lucion Truman "Lue" Parker, 67, of Maud, Texas, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018, at his home. Mr. Parker was born Aug. 23, 1951, in Hot Springs, Ark. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of First Baptist Church, Maud, and an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Kay Johnson Parker of Maud; one son, James Parker of Pilot Point, Texas; one daughter, Angie Barnard of Lompoc, Calif.; one brother, Jeff Parker of Hot Springs, Ark.; six sisters, Norma Lee Rowland, Linda Burks, Rhonda Dunn, Georgie Yates and Zorma Zell Knaper of Hot Springs and Martha Smith of Dewitt, Ark.; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Maud, with the Rev. Chuck Carr officiating. Burial will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Pilot Point Community Cemetery, Pilot Point, Texas, under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Maud.
