Roscoe Vaughan

Roscoe Spires Vaughan, 84, of Kiblah community, Ark., died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, in a Little Rock hospital. Mr. Vaughan was born Dec. 11, 1934, in Yazoo City, Miss. He was retired from General Motors Inc. Flint Metal Fab Division and a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Doddridge, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Connie Spearman-Vaughan of Kiblah community; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Paula Knox of Milwaukee; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, Craig Spearman of Kiblah community and Rayfield and Betty Spearman of Flint, Mich.; four aunts, Maerenna Tuner of Texarkana, Lela Harris of Doddridge, Ark., Bonnie Halley of Raytown, Mo., and Bertha Prather of Kansas City, Mo.; and a number of other relatives. Services will be noon Friday at Lyles Funeral Home with Darnell Johnson officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to noon Friday at the funeral home.
