Shirley Humphrey

ATLANTA, Texas—Shirley Reece Eaves Humphrey, 81, of Atlanta died Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Mrs. Humphrey was born June 9, 1937, in Bloomburg, Texas. She was employed with Christus St. Michael Health Care Center and a member of Calvary Tabernacle. She was preceded in death by three husbands, George "Pete" Eaves, James Yates and Elvin Humphrey; and one son, Randy Eaves. Survivors include one son, Mark Eaves of Linden, Texas; three stepsons, Danny Humphrey of Rockwall, Texas, James Humphrey of Terrell, Texas, and Paul Humphrey of Forney, Texas; one stepdaughter, Glenda Winter of Forney, Texas; one sister, June Solley of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Josh Eaves of Texarkana and Seth Eaves and Tyler Eaves of Atlanta; eight step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hanner Funeral Service with Billy Dupree and Tom Walker officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
