ARCHIE WINGFIELD

HOPE, Ark.—Archie Lee Wingfield, 81, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018, in a Little Rock, Ark., hospital. Mr. Wingfield was born Feb. 16, 1937, in Washington, Ark. He was retired from Tyson Foods, a farm operator, a Mason, a church choir member, trustee board member and Sunday school superintendent of St. Paul C.M.E. Church and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Wingfield, two daughters, Joyce Wingfield and Carolyn Wingfield; and one son-in-law, Jerry Stuart. Survivors include three children and one spouse, Cynthia, Archie Donnell and James Eric and Ronda; five grandchildren, LaQuinton Wingfield, Richedra Shaw, Ke'Terrius Wingfield, Justin Stuart and Zora Wingfield; one special friend, Selma Green; five great-grandchildren; three special cousins; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul C.M.E. Church, Washington. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery under the direction of Hicks Funeral Home. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
