James Berkley Oliver, 80, of Dallas passed away on December 4, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born February 6, 1938 in New Boston, TX to Clara and Berkley Oliver. He grew up in Texarkana, TX and graduated from Texas Senior High School where he made life-long friends and played on the football team. Jimmy was a residential and commercial real estate agent for the past 40 years. As a real estate agent, he was able to travel across the country and meet so many wonderful people. Jimmy was known for his kindness and never met a stranger. Jimmy was a very kind, loving father, grandfather, and brother who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was a wonderful cook, loved attending family activities, and going to the movies. He loved to travel, work in the yard, and dance to the oldies. He was always the life of the party. He is survived by daughters, Teri Oliver and Teresa Perot; granddaughter Brittany Perot; many grandchildren; brothers, Walt Oliver, wife Cindy; Neal Oliver, wife Andy; sister Nina Parault, husband Ron; Nancy Oliver; and beloved nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
