HOPE, Ark.—Gracie Lee Alford, 87, of Hope died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, in Hot Springs, Ark. Mrs. Alford was born Nov. 28, 1931, in Hope. She was a seamstress and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dexter Alford; and one son, Jim Alford. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Larry Don and Teresa Alford of Little Rock; one daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Scott Stark of Carrollton, Texas; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. today at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home with Neal Ridling officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.
