EARNEST STARKS

Earnest Lee Starks, 80, of Ogden, Ark., died Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, in Ashdown, Ark. Mr. Starks was born July 6, 1938, in Ogden. He was an engineer with the Army. Survivors include two sons, Michael Starks Sr. and Steven R. Starks of Ogden; two daughters, Deirdre Hawkins and Yolonda Dixon of Longview, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Naomi Starks of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Armstrong Cemetery with the Rev. Anretha Walker officiating. Burial will be under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
