Daniel Cherry

Daniel R. Cherry, 69, of Redwater, TX passed away December 22, 2018 in a local hospital. Mr. Cherry was born January 19, 1949 in Madera, CA. He was an Air Force Veteran serving from 1969 - 1973, stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base, Bossier City, LA as a B-52 jet engine mechanic; he was a member of the Church of Christ, Maud, TX. He was preceded in death by his father, Burl Cherry; and grandparents, Boone and Delia Pace. Survivors include his wife, Linda Cherry of Redwater, TX; son, Jason Cherry of Texarkana, TX; daughter, Kimberly Satterfield of Redwater, TX; son, Brandon Cherry of Redwater, TX; grandchildren, Devan Satterfield of Texarkana, TX, Jack Satterfield, Brent Satterfield, Kelsey Satterfield and Ryan Satterfield all of Redwater, TX; his mother, Paula Cherry of Cincinnati, OH; mother-in-law, Mary Bomberger of Texarkana, TX; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jay and Lynn Bomberger of Texarkana, TX. Burial will be at a later date in Eglantine Cemetery, Shirley, AR. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
