Mary Helen O'Keefe Weaver, 96, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, at a local hospital. Mrs. Weaver was born Feb. 25, 1921, in the Red Hill Community, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Dayton Weaver; and one son, Paul Shannon Weaver. Survivors include one daughter, Helen Paulette Weaver of Texarkana; one son and two daughters-in-law, Kevie Lee and Theresa Weaver of Texarkana and Paula Weaver of Redwater, Texas; one sister, Ila O'Keefe Williams of Chidester, Ark.; four grandchildren, Jeremy Paul Weaver and Jason Ryan Weaver of Texarkana, Nicholas Bryan Weaver of Lubbock, Texas and Deric Adam Weaver of Redwater; special friend, Corrine Scott of Texarkana; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Chapelwood Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Taylor officiating. Burial is under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home.
