HOPE, Ark.—David L. Samuel, 74, of Hope died Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, in Little Rock. Mr. Samuel was born Nov. 22, 1943, in Hope. He was a retired cattle farmer, a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Hope, and a Vietnam War veteran. Survivors include his wife, Doris Samuel of Deann, Ark.; five sons, Nathan Whitt Alto, Texas, Freddie Whitt of Deann, Tommy Samuel and Timmy Samuel of Hope and Aaron Samuel of Tyler, Texas; two daughters, Brenda Hartness of Nashville, Ark., and Penny Turner of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home with John Nations officiating. Burial will be in White Oak Grove Cemetery, Deann.
