DANNY JONES

DeKALB, Texas—Daniel "Danny" Ray Jones, 71, of New Boston, Texas, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, in a Texarkana, Texas, hospital. Mr. Jones was born Nov. 23, 1946. He worked for the Dallas Police Department, was a correctional officer at Texas Department of Criminal Justice and a Vietnam War Marine veteran. Survivors include his wife, Donna Parker Jones of New Boston, Texas; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Joshua and Kristi Jones of Corinth, Texas, and Jacob Jones and and Jeremy Jones of Dallas, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Greg Nichols of Doddridge, Ark.; his mother, Doris Jones of Texarkana; one sister and brother-in-law, Sister and Mike Speers of Redwater, Texas; eight grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
