FRANK ROBERTS

Frank Edward Roberts, 79, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, in Texarkana. Mr. Roberts was born May 27, 1938, in Foreman, Ark. He was a union shop steward at Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. Survivors include his wife, Rose Roberts of Texarkana; eight sons, Tony Roberts of Little Rock, Ark., Frank Roberts Jr. of Kent, Wash., Norman Roberts of Oak Harbor, Wash., Joe Baker of Foreman, Ark., and Donald James, Anthony Washington, Lee Davis and Johnny Washington of Texarkana; one brother, Floyd Roberts of Ellicot City, Md.; and four sisters, Alice Waller and Rephonnie Roberts of Texarkana, Wilma Zachery of Los Angeles, Calif., and Corlis Roberts of Duncanville, Texas. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Polly Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Reginald Reid officiating. Burial will be in Nash Cemetery under the direction of Jones-Stuart Mortuary. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the church. Viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
