JANICE SEXTON

Janice Faye Sexton, 70, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Sexton was born May 19, 1947. She was a homemaker and a member of Sylverino Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam D. Sexton; and one grandchild, Shelby Smith. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sondra and Johnny Smith of Texarkana, Ark.; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Wade Sexton of Prescott, Ark., and Shaun and Stephanie Sexton of Texarkana, Ark.; one sister, Lou Bourque of Welsh, La.; three brothers, Hugh Ed Walker of Texarkana, Texas, Travis Walker of Texarkana, Ark., and Orville Walker of Doddridge, Ark.; her caregiver, Shonna Harris; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
