NETA BRANKEL

Neta Jean Solley Brankel, 87, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018. Mrs. Brankel was born Nov. 21, 1930, in Texarkana, Ark. She was an evangelist, musician, cattle rancher and a Christian. She was preceded in death by one great-grandchild, Tanner Yoder. Survivors include her husband, Donald L. Brankel; two daughters, Leenetta Ruth Tyler and Jacqueta Ann Cantrell; one sister Geneva Ruth Roberts; five grandchildren, Regina Ivey, Cindy Cowling, Chad Cantrell, Marc Cantrell, and Marsha Yoder; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Faith Assembly of God Church with the Revs. Andy Harris and Martha Tennison officiating.
