DE QUEEN, Ark.—Timothy Haskell Brotherton, 70, of De Queen died Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, in a Texarkana, Texas, hospice. Mr. Brotherton was born Feb. 19, 1947, in Branch, Ark. He was the owner of Brotherton Timber Company, a member of De Queen Rotary Club, a 32nd-degree Mason at Sweet Home Masonic Lodge, a member of First Baptist Church and an Arkansas National Guard veteran. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Brotherton. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Brotherton of de Queen; two daughters, Robin Ponder of Mena, Ark, and Allison Crawford of De Queen; one stepdaughter, Jennifer Bickle of Warner Robbins, Ga.; one brother, Dwight Brotherton of Waldron, Ark.; two sisters, Gloria Dunn of Charleston, Ark., and Regina Kirkpatrick of De Queen; three grandchildren; and six stepgrandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Chandler Funeral Home with Ray Reynolds and Steve Ward officiating. Burial will be in Redmen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
