HOPE, Ark.—Mary Carleene Yokem, 92, of Escondido, Calif., died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018. Mrs. Yokem was born Sept. 16, 1925, in Texarkana, Ark. She was a grocery store owner, poultry farmer and member of Bruce Memorial Methodist Church, Blevins, Ark. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Chester Stephens and Dale Yokem. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Bob Crosby of San Diego; one sister, Faye Reyenga of Hope; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Kimberly and Peter Kruk; and two great-grandsons, Andrew and Alexander. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Bruce Memorial Methodist Church, Blevins, with the Rev. Jimmy Teeter officiating. Burial will be in Marlbrook Cemetery under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. today at the church. Online registration is at brazzelfuneralhomes.com.
