Leroy Jones

Leroy Jones, age 77, of Redwater, Texas, died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Jones was born July 13, 1940 in Maud, Texas. He was the owner of Investment Housing, Inc. and Shady Pines RV Center Inc.; past president of Texas Mobile Home Association and charter member of TexAmerica Board, Redwater Representative. He faithfully attended Hillcrest Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Thelma Jones; two brothers, Johnnie Jones and James Jones and one great-grandson, Brody Gage Duncan. Survivors include his wife, Lavada Jones of Redwater, two daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Paul Pedron and Paula and Steve Coggin all of Redwater; close family friend, Pedro Garcia of Madrid, Spain; another daughter and son, Stephanie Jones of New Orleans, Louisiana and Cline Jones of Lubbock, Texas; one brother, Robert Jones of Hooks; grandchildren, Ashley and Clint Duncan, Lacey and Matt Shirley, Cody and Kasey Coggin, Courtney and Colby Green and Cole Pedron; five great-grandchildren, Gracie, Gunner, and Greenlie Duncan and Graham and Griffyn Shirley; along with many other relatives. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Chapelwood Funeral Home. A private burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
